Samson is an allegory about God’s power and a reminder of our own. It is a story about choosing to follow God no matter what, even if that means making sacrifices in the name of what you believe. It is also a tale about never giving up on your dreams, no matter how many times you might be knocked down.

This biblical B-movie isn’t very good. The production values are low, the costumes look like they came out of a Halloween store, and the acting is mostly bad. The best thing about it is the fact that it doesn’t take itself too seriously. There are some fun action scenes and the movie isn’t afraid to show some Old Testament violence.

It also helps that Taylor James, who plays Samson, has the requisite physique for the role. He is a big man with a large personality and he is able to convey the right amount of charm in this role. He doesn’t have the charisma of a Dwayne Johnson or a Conan-era Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he is still quite good in this movie.
